Główny Urząd Miar (GUM) przedstawia oficjalną aplikację, wyświetlającą aktualny czas urzędowy w Polsce, pobierany z serwerów czasu zlokalizowanych w Laboratorium Czasu i Częstotliwości GUM. Serwery są połączone z państwowym wzorcem jednostek miar czasu i częstotliwości. Dzięki tej aplikacji: wyświetlisz na swoim urządzeniu, pełnoekranowy zegar z oficjalnym czasem obowiązującym na obszarze Polski; - poznasz wady i zalety regularnych zmian czasu (letni/zimowy) lub pozostania przez caly rok z jednym czasem - dowiesz się, jak działają zegary atomowe i na czym polega transfer czasu; - dowiesz się, kiedy obchodziłbyś urodziny żyjąc np. na Marsie - poznasz największą bazę wiedzy o czasie.
